Women's only Pistol

This Women’s Only Pistol Course is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for women who are new to firearms or looking to build their foundational pistol skills. Led by experienced instructors who understand the unique concerns and questions new shooters may have, this course emphasizes safety, confidence, and competence with handguns.

Whether your goal is personal protection, recreational shooting, or simply learning the basics, this class will help you feel comfortable and capable handling a firearm.

Topics Covered:

• Firearms safety fundamentals and range etiquette
• Introduction to pistol types and how they function
• Proper stance, grip, and trigger control
• Aiming techniques: sight picture and alignment
• Safe loading, unloading, and storage practices
• Basic malfunction recognition and how to respond
• Live-fire practice at a pace comfortable for each student
• Q&A time to address personal concerns or gear questions

Duration: 4–6 hours (classroom + live-fire)

Required Equipment:

• A reliable pistol (rentals may be available, e-mail us for details)
• 200 - 250 rounds of ammunition
• Eye and ear protection
• Comfortable clothing suitable for range activity 
• Holster with sturdy belt.

**After purchase of this class and closer to the class date, a Recoil Acres instructor will e-mail you with the location and final class details regarding your attendance. Based on class size and firing range availability, the location can change between New Hampshire locations; including Littleton, Bethlehem and Whitefield for Recoil Acres classes and Canterbury New Hampshire. **

The refund policy for Recoil Acres is as follows: If you need to cancel a class, please reach out to us at recoilacres@gmail.com. If the cancellation notice is given within two weeks of the class date, the payment can be transferred and used for another Recoil Acres class within the next 12 months. However, if the class is canceled more than two weeks in advance, the payment can be refunded using the original method of payment.
